In Her Words…..

Shall I begin like David Copperfield, “I was born, I was raised, I grew up” or shall I begin like Sam Cook, “I was born by the river in a little tent and like a river I been running ever since. My name is Iesha Renee Mills and I was born on August 14, 1982 in a small rural American town called Natalbany. I grew up under the watchful eye of a grandmother that was not afraid to use the rod of correction.  I graduated from high school in 2000. After high school I got married and started living and working. I married, a life-long friend. I can remember playing with him, going to dances, attending church functions and him working around the house with my dad.  We got married on December 07, 2001 and now have 4 children. We currently live in Phoenix, Arizona.

That brings me to the current date.  In 2013 I found my calling. I stepped on the stage for the first time at the Sochu House in Phoenix and I have not looked back.  Taking stages around the Valley of the Sun became my 1st years grind.

I have been on several New Faces of Comedy Showcases in Downtown Phoenix at the Stand Up Live and Tempe Improv. I have performed in Charity Domestic Violence Comedy Shows at Stand Up Scottsdale and have made my way to Henderson Nevada with an open invitation to perform on Sundays. I was the 1st Comedian to take the stage at the Grand Opening of the Laugh Factory in Scottsdale Arizona opening for the Legendary Latin King of Comedy Paul Rodriguez. I was the opening act for Red Grant at the 2015 CFRF Weekend.  I have been featured in Tru-Life Entertainment Magazine as 2015 Comedian of the year. Along with all the stages I have performed on I have entered and advanced in several comedy competitions. I performed at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood on the First Impressions Showcase at Chocolate Sundaes produced by Pookie Wiggington.

Along with Comedy, I have begun to build my resume by adding, Radio and Improv to my repertoire.
